Here are details about security settings. It determines how you can apply security settings to your store.
- Admin area allowed IP:It determines which IP addresses can be permitted to access the Admin Privileges. If you do not want to restrict any IP from accessing the back end then leave it empty. To add multiple IP addresses, separate with comma. For Example:126.0.0.19, 245.18.204.16
- 'Usernames' enabled:Check to use username instead of email addresses for logging in. It is not recommended to change in Production environment.
- Registration method: Choose a method of registration.Standard Method: Mode in which the customers can visit without any approval, Email Validation: Mode where the customer accounts are activated only after verification through a link mailed to them, Admin Approval: Admin approval is mandatory for customer registration in this mode, Disabled: By selecting this registration is disabled.
- Allow navigation only for registered customers:Check this to ensure that only registered customers can navigate through the online store by entering their logging information
- Login captcha image enabled:Check this to enable a CAPTCHA "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart."Test on the Login Page for customers. It displays distorted letters for example: STHIDF
