Whenever a customer purchases something from your store, they are required to enter their billing and shipping information. They also enter their email information to receive the various order notifications that are generated by the cart. When this occurs, a profile is updated for them in your store. After their initial purchase, returning customers can simply log into their account with your store by using the email address they signed in with originally, and have all their billing/shipping information saved for them.
You can view and edit your existing customers, by taking the following steps:
Go to Customers => Mange Customers
It will show you the list of existing customers. Any existing customer can be edited or you can add new customer as well. If you are looking for any particular customer, you can search it on bases of registration date and email etc, You may filter them by registered customers or by guests.
Once you click on the customer's profile, you will see the customer's listing and a series of navigation like billing address, shipping address, customer roles and customer orders.
